Our goal 
Edu Start provides a Christian foundation, care and education. Although the "school" must be self sufficient, our aim is not to profit, but to provide. We aim to provide a safe environment for all children.
Vision
Edu Start strives to develop, educate and care for your child to become a confident and balanced child that will be ready for Primary School.
Mission
All children must be stimulated intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically during all stages of their development
Toddlers (ages 2 – 3) must be assisted to venture and discover their environment
(Ages 4 - 5) basic content based education to support motorized and perceptual skills. Combination of content- and outcomes based education to prepare for "foundation" phase
Grade R Outcomes based Education as prescribed by Educational Department
School times
07h00 - School opens ; 17h30 - School closes 
School fees
The payment of school fees is strictly in advance - on the 1st day of each month, including December and January.
Fees must be paid on time, as staff and other overhead expenses need to be borne irrespective of whether the child attends the school or not, and irrespective of holiday periods.
Annual school fee increase will become effective in March each year.
New Parents (Nursery School & After Care) : R100 Registration (Once-Off-Non-Refundable)
Edu Start closes for 3 weeks during the December period (full fees are still payable for December)
Nursery School 
Gr 0 (R) : 5 – 6 yrs ; Gr 00 : 4 – 5 yrs ; Gr 000 : 3 – 4 yrs ; Toddlers : 2 – 3 yrs
After-Care
We have an after care facility for Kenton Primary School and Brackenhurst Primary School. We collect the children and bring them to Edu Start where they receive a cooked lunch and are assisted with their homework. Sandwiches and cold drink are served at 3pm.The after care is open during the school holidays – full day for aftercare children with no extra charge.
